Meet Thania Sanchez Velazquez

Founder, Early Childhood Educator, Author & Creator of the TFI Methodology

Education is far more than routine instruction; it is the art of shaping character, confidence, and lifelong human connection.

My journey began with a lifelong devotion to guiding young minds. Born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, I started working with children at an early age as a babysitter, quickly discovering my true vocation. Before moving to Canada, I began my career as a preschool teacher in Mexico, laying the early groundwork of my pedagogical practice inside the classroom. At 19, life brought my family and me to Canada. While navigating the challenges of adapting to a new country, I discovered the profound beauty of multiculturalism and developed a lasting appreciation for diverse cultures, all while keeping the warmth and spirit of my Mexican roots close to my heart.

Over the past 20 years, I have built a dedicated career in early childhood education, inclusive care, and business leadership across Canada:

  • Professional Foundations & Inclusive Care: After completing my Early Childhood Educator credentials at Sprott-Shaw College in Victoria, BC (2008–2009) and specialized studies in Health, Safety, and Nutrition with the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute, I committed myself to inclusive, high-standard care. My background includes specialized training in uncontracted Braille for blind children, foundational knowledge in Sign Language, and years of experience as an Educational Assistant with Edmonton Public Schools supporting children with diverse developmental needs.

  • Leadership & Operational Excellence: From leading multi-classroom childcare operations at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver to founding and managing my own Spanish-immersion childcare center since April 2019, I have directed all facets of early education: provincial regulatory compliance, financial management, curriculum design, and team mentoring.

  • Creative Authorship & Innovation: As a mother to two daughters, I saw firsthand the urgent need for tools that bridge the classroom and the home. Under the publishing imprint MamiPollo, I authored published children’s books, including The Treasure of Values (El Tesoro de los Valores) and the Chicky’s Adventures series, while producing educational video content focused on social manners, empathy, and positive habits.

  • Modern Strategy & Digital Acumen: To ensure high operational standards and brand visibility, I integrated continuous education into my business leadership, earning certifications in Digital Marketing and Digital Commerce (2025) and completing Google AI Essentials (2025). This modern toolkit empowers me to combine data-driven outreach, content strategy, and innovative problem-solving with educational excellence.

This unique combination of hands-on classroom mastery, preschool teaching foundations in Mexico, inclusive special-needs advocacy, maternal dedication, and entrepreneurial strategy led directly to the creation of the TFI Methodology (Integral Formation Triangle)—protected by trademark and copyright in Canada.
