Integral Formation Triangle
The Integral Formation Triangle (TFI) is an early childhood pedagogical framework that intentionally integrates three fundamental pillars of child development:
Bilingual language development: implemented either through full immersion (100%) or via a structured bilingual enrichment framework with dedicated daily classes, where language serves as the vehicle for discovering the world.
Strengthening the child's connection to their roots: Connecting them to their origin while simultaneously opening windows to other cultures. This is the pillar of self-esteem and emotional security.
Character and values formation: Our priority is to raise "better human beings and create a better world." We foster independence from an early age as the foundation of self-confidence.
These three pillars articulate an educational model that aims to develop children with solid language skills, a clear sense of cultural belonging, and a firm ethical foundation for their personal and social development.
I. The Three Methodological Pillars (TFI Pillars)
1. Linguistic Pillar: Language Immersion
The Method: Language Delivery Models and Experiential Learning
Depending on the center’s selected operational model, language delivery is implemented through one of the following frameworks:
Full Immersion Track: The target instructional language is used during 100% of the daily schedule through immersive, play-based activities and routines.
Bilingual Enrichment Track: The center operates in its primary language while incorporating dedicated daily second-language sessions (circle time, songs, storytelling) alongside key vocabulary embedded into everyday transitions and routines.
For children entering either program for the first time, warm and supportive transition scaffolding is applied to facilitate a gradual, positive, and emotionally secure adaptation
Integration of Language and Values: By learning the language in an environment guided by values, the child simultaneously develops communication skills and positive ways of living together. In this manner, language learning and ethical formation mutually reinforce each other.
Neuroscientific Approach:
"The simultaneous teaching of a second language and a universal values framework generates a neurocognitive anchor in the child. By intertwining the linguistic code with daily ethical practice, the child’s brain develops integrated neural circuits, where language mastery and positive behavioral patterns consolidate in a unified and natural way."
2. Ontological Pillar: Roots and Multiculturalism
The Method: This pillar helps the child recognize their family history, identity, and sense of belonging. At the same time, it allows them to approach other cultures with curiosity, respect, and openness.
Emotional Foundation: It strengthens self-esteem, emotional security, and self-worth—essential elements for the child to learn and socialize with confidence.
Connecting and Celebrating: Connecting the child with their origin while opening windows to other cultures. We integrate holidays, music, and traditions from different cultures, teaching that differences are not only respected but celebrated.
3. Axiological Pillar: Character Education / Values Formation
The Method: This pillar turns every moment of the day into an opportunity to teach and practice values. Through play, routines, and daily interactions, the child learns to act with respect, honesty, gratitude, and responsibility.
Character Formation: The language used daily at the centre helps name, reinforce, and model positive behaviors. In this way, values cease to be abstract ideas and become habits that strengthen the child’s moral identity
Meet Thania Sanchez Velazquez
Founder, Early Childhood Educator, Author & Creator of the TFI Methodology
Education is far more than routine instruction; it is the art of shaping character, confidence, and lifelong human connection.
My journey began with a lifelong devotion to guiding young minds. Born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, I started working with children at an early age as a babysitter, quickly discovering my true vocation. Before moving to Canada, I began my career as a preschool teacher in Mexico, laying the early groundwork of my pedagogical practice inside the classroom. At 19, life brought my family and me to Canada. While navigating the challenges of adapting to a new country, I discovered the profound beauty of multiculturalism and developed a lasting appreciation for diverse cultures, all while keeping the warmth and spirit of my Mexican roots close to my heart.
Over the past 20 years, I have built a dedicated career in early childhood education, inclusive care, and business leadership across Canada:
Professional Foundations & Inclusive Care: After completing my Early Childhood Educator credentials at Sprott-Shaw College in Victoria, BC (2008–2009) and specialized studies in Health, Safety, and Nutrition with the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute, I committed myself to inclusive, high-standard care. My background includes specialized training in uncontracted Braille for blind children, foundational knowledge in Sign Language, and years of experience as an Educational Assistant with Edmonton Public Schools supporting children with diverse developmental needs.
Leadership & Operational Excellence: From leading multi-classroom childcare operations at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver to founding and managing my own Spanish-immersion childcare center since April 2019, I have directed all facets of early education: provincial regulatory compliance, financial management, curriculum design, and team mentoring.
Creative Authorship & Innovation: As a mother to two daughters, I saw firsthand the urgent need for tools that bridge the classroom and the home. Under the publishing imprint MamiPollo, I authored published children’s books, including The Treasure of Values (El Tesoro de los Valores) and the Chicky’s Adventures series, while producing educational video content focused on social manners, empathy, and positive habits.
Modern Strategy & Digital Acumen: To ensure high operational standards and brand visibility, I integrated continuous education into my business leadership, earning certifications in Digital Marketing and Digital Commerce (2025) and completing Google AI Essentials (2025). This modern toolkit empowers me to combine data-driven outreach, content strategy, and innovative problem-solving with educational excellence.
This unique combination of hands-on classroom mastery, preschool teaching foundations in Mexico, inclusive special-needs advocacy, maternal dedication, and entrepreneurial strategy led directly to the creation of the TFI Methodology (Integral Formation Triangle)—protected by trademark and copyright in Canada.

Today, my focus is expanding the TFI Methodology internationally through our turnkey franchise model. I created TFI to offer educators, school owners, and families a proven educational framework that moves beyond standard babysitting—building calm, joyful learning environments that prepare articulate, confident, and values-driven leaders for tomorrow.
